Up for sale a late model austin healey bj8 3000. This car comes with the britishmotor heritage certificate showing the car was built 22 december (1966) – 24january 1967. The mileage shows 37795. The body on this car is extremelystraight. It has had an older restoration. The door lines are as they should beand the doors close properly. It has the original black interior in very goodcondition. The door panels have some minor damage and a new set will be providedwith the car. This bj8 has a nice everflex convertible top and comes also withthe original boot cover and an aftermarket tonneau cover. It has brand new 60spoke chrome wire wheels with 165 x 15 brand new firestone f-560 radial tires. This healey has a newly rebuiltoriginal servo, new waterpump, new 6 bladed fan and new hoses. It also has a new high quality chrome emergency brakehandle. This mkiii bj8 also has new lucas driving lights that have been properlywired through two relays. I see no rust anywhere on the car body. The originalframe rails are straight. It has one small rust hole above the tailpipes in thetrunk floor. The paint job is several years old but still very respectable. There are a few nick and minor chips in keeping with its age. There is no rustin the fender wells, especially in front of the rear tires. It has ansa mufflersand regular mild steel resonators, but could use a new set o.

Seller's comments and description: 1959 austin-healey 100-six bn6 two-seaternumbers-matching as per british motor industry heritage trust certificate. Specification left hand drive bn6 two-seater. Ideal example to take to the next level. Offered here is an original lhd, north american spec two-seater, completed on october 6, 1958. It wears appropriate british racing green paint over black upholstery and factory equipped with wire wheels, overdrive, mph speedometer and laminated windscreen. Previously enjoyed as a casual driver, this healey now displays an older restoration, ideal for light restoration. Complete with plexi side curtains, top shell (missing frame) and full-cab tonneau cover. The body shows signs of corrosion, visible from the underside edges but with a good frame, while the engine bay reveals the original numbers-matching and now triple-carbureted motor. Overall we believe this is a great example to take to the next level. It is offered with a heritage certificate confirming matching numbers and specifications.
